The Lions advance to the sectional game in the MSHSAA State Tournament. They will play Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:00pm at Glasgow High School against the Northeast (Cairo) Bearcats.
Digital Ticketing REMINDER – All tickets for Sectional & Quarterfinal games are $10 and will go on-sale through the MSHSAA website by noon tomorrow, Sunday, March 1. Digital Tickets must be purchased for any person not listed on the pass list.
Here is how you can order the digital tickets:
1. Go to MSHSAA.org
2. Click on Sports & Activities
3. Click on Basketball
4. Make sure you are on the Boys section and click State Championship Brackets
5. Make sure you are on Class 1 and scroll down to find Tuscumbia vs Northeast (Cairo)
6. Click on the date and time in the middle of the team names
7. It will take you to a page that says Buy Digital Tickets! Click the link and then find Boys Basketball Show-Me Showdown.
8. Click Class 1 again and find the game to purchase your digital tickets.

The HS boys basketball team is playing in the District Championship tonight at 5:00pm in Jamestown. They will be taking on the host school the Jamestown Eagles.
The doors will not open until 4:00pm for the general public. Seating will be first come, first serve!

Miller County R-III School District will hold kindergarten screenings and registration for the 2026-2027 school year on Friday, March 6. Any child who is or will be 5 years of age on or before July 31, 2026, is eligible to attend kindergarten next year. Screening times are from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. If you have a child who will be attending kindergarten next year at Tuscumbia, we encourage you to call 573-369-2375 and set up an appointment for screenings.
Ag Olympics for our FFA members was the perfect way to wrap up the day! 🌽🏆 It was a fun, laid-back event filled with laughter, teamwork, and a little friendly competition. We are so proud of our students and the way they represent the National FFA Organization. Thank you to everyone who helped make FFA Week such a success — we would love your continued support as we grow leaders and build community all year long! 💙💛
We are so proud of our students who attended Culver Stockton College Science Fair last Saturday. Competing against 180 students from Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri were Audrey Tellman and Paisley Rush in the junior high division and Damon Whittle, Bryan Buechter, and Levi Snodgrass in the high school division. All 5 Tuscumbia students received a 1 rating (1st place). Bryan Buechter won top in category in Physical Science and Audrey Tellman won top in category in Zoology. Damon Whittle won 2nd place overall in the Math and Engineering category, and Levi Snodgrass won 3rd place overall in Environment Science

🚨JH/HS Track and HS Baseball🚨
JH/HS Track and HS Baseball practices will begin on Monday, March 2nd. Practices will run from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM each day.
All student-athletes must have a current physical on file in order to participate. Students will not be allowed to practice on Monday without a completed physical.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all JH/HS Track parents at 5:30 PM in the gymnasium on Monday. At least one parent must be in attendance.
