If you are going to the softball or baseball game at Jamestown on Thursday, they will not accept anything larger than a $20 bill for admission, so please plan for that.
First home middle school boys' basketball game tonight vs. St. Elizabeth, and baseball plays Prairie Home on our home field, also. Come out and support your Lions!
If you're going to the basketball game, notice our new conference signs on the gym wall--we're still waiting for one that had to be remade--but we are proud members of the new Show-Me Central Conference!
You will also notice we have taken down the FFA banners TEMPORARILY, as we had run out of space and need to do some rearranging of them. Our plan for the future is to keep the banners on the wall for 5 years and have a board made with names, awards, and years for the ones older than that, then return the banner to the person who earned it when we take it down. We want to continue to honor our alumni who earned these honors and awards, but thanks to the number of successes we have had over the years, our walls were getting crowded. We have a similar plan for the sports and academic team honors, as some of our older banners were taken down a few years ago because they had not aged well. We will also have a board made for conference, district, and state team honors and do our best to get all of our teams and years for those posted, also.
The softball game that was scheduled for this Wednesday at Wheatland has been moved to Thursday, October 10th.
The MS boys' basketball game scheduled for this Thursday against Crocker has been postponed. The date has not been set yet.
