THANK YOU to our students and staff for putting together another amazing carnival evening, and THANK YOU to our community for your continued support of our students and school. #tuscumbialions

It's Taco Tuesday at Tuscumbia High School.
At 6:30pm Tuesday, October 19, the Boys Basketball team is hosting a taco bar ($8) as a fundraiser for meals before games this season. A parent meeting for boys playing basketball will follow at 7pm in the High School Library.
The public is invited and you are encouraged to RSVP to Karen in the School office.

Next week is Red Ribbon Week, hosted by our Middle School Student Council. Below, you can find the dress up days we will be having, Monday through Thursday. The Middle School Student Council will be going around on those days to pass out candy to students (and staff) who participate in the dress up days.
Please be aware that hats are only allowed on Tuesday and Thursday as they pertain to that day's dressing up. So Tuesday, hats have to do with a sports team and Thursday they must be part of the overall costume. Hats will not be allowed on Monday or Wednesday. Also, costumes must follow the guidelines regarding the dress code as they are stated in the student handbook.

It’s K8 card time! Your student should be coming home with a sales envelope today. This fundraiser helps to build our technology funds, and those who purchase get some great deals! We can’t wait to get this kicked off: It’s a win-win!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the baseball game vs. Dixon this evening has been cancelled. Reschedule date is pending.

New month, new character trait! This month's character trait is Empathy. To have empathy means that you are able to understand and share the feelings of another. Throughout the month of October, we will be highlighting this character trait through classroom lessons and the Lion's Link. We will also celebrate students that model this trait in our Pillars of Pride. If you see a student being a person of character and practicing empathy, please let us know through the Pillars of Pride Student Nomination Form which can be found on the district's website in the menu under Students and Parents.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature was not on our side this morning. Due to the abundance of rain today, the tractor pull has been postponed until Sunday, October 10th, 2021. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Just a reminder that all spirit wear orders and payment are due tomorrow, Friday, October 1st. There will not be any late orders accepted at this time.

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is the first Friday of October, and it will be an early release.
