The Lady Lions kicked off the season with a jamboree in Versailles this afternoon. They played 4 innings against both Versailles and Dixon. They lost a close one with Versailles (5-7) and then beat Dixon (10-0.). What a great way to gain some real game experience in order to prepare for the season opener next Friday at St. Elizabeth.

It was so great to see all of our families back in the building tonight: We can’t wait to start school on Monday! Thank you to the Tuscumbia Betterment Committee for all of their hard work in putting the back to school fair together, it was definitely a success. We are so very thankful for you all!

The MCHD is hosting a free vaccine clinic tomorrow, August 19th from 8 to 7 at 2125 Highway 52 in Tuscumbia. Vaccines provided will be Meningitis and TDAP for 8th and 12th graders and also Pfizer COVID vaccine for anyone 12 and older. The general public is welcome!

In an effort to reinstate archery back at school we hosted BAI training through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources on Monday. Miss Grant and Mr. Saylor are excited about bringing this opportunity back for our students: Be on the lookout for more information!

We can’t wait to see you all back in the building! Make sure to add open house to your calendar. Fall athletics meeting will follow from approximately 7:00-7:30.

We are so excited to be busy in the building preparing for the 2021-2022 school year. We can't wait to welcome each of you back. As you begin planning and thinking of the the new year, I bet school supplies come to mind. The school supply list can be found at the following link. Thanks to generous donations and hard work by the Tuscumbia Betterment Committee we have been able to reduce the supply fee. Be sure to check out the Betterment Committee's back to school fair open house night to grab supplies to take to your classroom.

We’d like to give a huge shoutout to the Tuscumbia 8u ladies and their coaches. They fought hard to win the championship yesterday evening: showing grit and determination. Also, a big thanks to all volunteers who pour into young lives through youth sports. You are appreciated! #smalltownlife #TtownLions #youthsports #thankful #grateful

As part of the annual summer maintenance, the gymnasium will be closed beginning on Monday, July 19th for waxing until further notice.

If you are out and about tonight, or just looking for something to do we’ve got some Lions you could support. Ball teams will be out at the park (softball for sure at 6:30) and we’ve got some showing hogs at the fair. #GoLions #Ttownproud
