1st grade invited me to a freeze dance party the last 5 minutes of Library. I couldn't resist, but I was the first one out!
Root beer floats for a science experiment? How cool is that! The students made root beer floats. They are learning about the different types of matter. Solid (icecream) Liquid (root beer) and Gas ( The foam). Sounds like a great experiment to me 🍨🥼
High School boys basketball preseason workouts will start next week. They will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30am-7:45am.

Several students and community member attended See You at the Pole event this morning. This event was optional for all students and staff.
The Prairie Home Panthers came to town and took both wins for the evening. Next game is Thursday at 5pm at home vs. Iberia.

See You at the Pole
Students, staff, and community members are invited to gather at the flagpole for a time of prayer for our schools. Pastor Steve McFadden will lead the prayer.
Community members, please park in the student parking lot.
Student drop off from 7:50-8:05, please enter and exit through the main parking lot. Student may be dropped off at the main entrance for this day only.
Participation is completely voluntary.

Bus 1--Tiphanie's bus--has a mechanical issue. We are sending another bus, but students will be a few minutes late getting home on that route.
Due to an ineligible player at this time we have decided to cancel the remainder of our fall baseball season. Practices will still be held on Tuesday and Thursday of each week from 3:30-5:00pm.
FFA members are selling Mums! These mums are only $15 and the FFA members will deliver them to you on October 6th.
Our students and staff are so creative! "Life on the Osage" floats were fantastic. Congratulations to the 7th grade class for winning the middle school division and the junior class for winning the high school division
A few of our classes had a quick field-trip to the Miller County Historical Museum. They enjoyed it so much, they are wanting to go back. If you get a chance stop by and check it out. It's pretty awesome.
Conference matchup this evening. The Lady Lions and Lions took on the Vienna Eagles. The game went in the Eagles favor but the hometown team never gave up. Next home game is Tuesday night at 6pm. ❤️🖤💪🏀
