The Miller County R-III School District is looking for an evening custodian to join the Lion Pride. Applicants should be self-motivated, dependable individuals who can pass a background check. Hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Starting salary is $12.00/hour, with years granted on the salary schedule for similar job experience. Due to poor field conditions, the baseball game for tonight, oct 13, has been cancelled. There will be a short (30 min) practice at the field to prep it for winter.
It' GAME DAY! JHBB girls won big over New Franklin B, but the boys dropped a tough one to BPH A 52-40. Boys take on New Franklin at 6:15. Bus leaves at 4pm. Girls play tomorrow vs New Franklin A at 8:45, buss leaves at 6:30.
Due to a board member training, the October Board of Education meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, instead of 6:00.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day off school! A couple of things for the upcoming week:
We will be conducting fire, tornado, and active shooter drills this week. If you see activity around the school in the mornings related to these drills, there is no cause for alarm--we're just trying to prepare in case of emergencies.
Also, tomorrow is PTO hat day--bring $1 and wear your favorite (school appropriate) head covering!
No JH basketball in the morning—we have to get the tables taken down from the Alumni Dinner. Thank you!
